NG Results: Nicholson prevails at sentencing hearing, keeps client out of prison

By Nick Gansner of Nicholson, Gansner & Otis, S.C. on Tuesday, February 16, 2016.

This week, Attorney Nicholson prevailed at an argued, contested sentencing hearing on behalf of a client who had entered a guilty plea to one count of 2nd Degree Sexual Assault of a Child. Previously, three additional counts of 2nd Degree Sexual Assault of a Child, as well as three counts of Child Enticement, had been dismissed. At sentencing, the government recommended the client be sentenced to a total of 15 years imprisonment. Attorney Nicholson successfully recommended that the judge place the client on probation, thus keeping him out of prison.
